Inca Trail Machu ensures your trek is equipped with the finest gear, including Eureka tents, sleeping bags, Therm-A-Rest mattresses, dining tents, and toilet tents. Below is a comprehensive list of the equipment provided for your trek.

Personal Tents - Eureka!

When you trek with us, you can choose between the EUREKA SQ 4XT 4 PERSON TENT or the MOUNTAIN OR EUREKA PASS 3XTE 3 PERSON TENT.

We take pride in offering robust EUREKA brand 4-season tents designed for two people or solo travelers, prioritizing spaciousness and comfort. Our commitment extends beyond the trek, ensuring thorough cleaning and maintenance after each use. Despite the 4-person capacity, we allocate these tents to only two trek participants, providing enhanced space and comfort. Solo travelers receive a 2-person capacity tent for added privacy.

Post-trek, our meticulous care continues with a comprehensive inspection, disinfection, and necessary repairs to guarantee the tents' excellent condition for every adventure.

Toilet Tent:

Our bathroom facilities are safe, sanitary, and ready wherever needed. We utilize the Cleanwaste Complete GO toilet system for privacy and safety, coupled with biodegradable fillings, contributing to our eco-friendly approach.

Dining Tents, Cooking Facilities, and Eating Utensils:

Locally made in Urubamba, our dining tents, tables, and chairs support the community and provide employment opportunities. The waterproof and spacious tents ensure a comfortable dining and cooking experience throughout the trek. Eating utensils consist of stainless steel kitchenware, maintaining durability and hygiene. Thorough cleaning in 100% boiled water post-trek guarantees their excellent condition.

Some tour operators opt for acrylic or plastic utensils to reduce weight during the trek, often using them daily without much care for hygiene and the environment.

Sleeping Essentials:

Enjoy restful nights with our -15°C goose feather sleeping bags, Therma-A-Rest air mattresses, and trekking sleeping sheets or sleeping liners for varying temperature conditions. In chilly weather, our trekking cook provides hot water bottles (Wawitas) for warmth inside your sleeping bag.

Additional Amenities:

Stay dry with our provided rain ponchos, and have your personal belongings conveniently packed in a duffel bag. For added support during trekking, we supply hiking poles.

Emergency Equipment:

Satellite Phone: Exclusively used for communication with our company in emergencies.

Radio Communication: Our guides and trekking chefs use radios to coordinate during the hike. Connected with the Ministry of Culture, Sernanp, and local authorities. In emergencies, our guide contacts relevant institutions.

Oxygen Tank: Prepared for higher Andean regions, ensuring safety at higher altitudes.

First Aid Kit: Comprehensive and ready to handle any emergencies that may arise during the trek.
