Responsible People was founded Valery Toledo, founder of Inca Trail Machu and Edwin Caviedes. Our mission is to dedicate a portion of our tour revenue to ongoing community and environmental projects. These efforts aim to improve the quality of life for porters and local families while ensuring a better future for the next generations. As tourism in Peru continues to grow, we act as a bridge connecting travelers with meaningful opportunities to give back to people and the planet.

We are also committed to sustainable travel practices. Our tours promote responsible tourism by reducing plastic use on the trails, offering fair wages to our porters and cooks, and providing training for local communities to minimize environmental impact.
